Together with different financial institutions, we have participated in the legal design and implementation of numerous infrastructure projects. In addition, our experience in the public sector allows us to know and suggest various public financing mechanisms that can give an important boost to different projects.

• Finance and restructuring:

As part of our experience in both the public and private sectors, we have advised on different financing restructurings that require complex adjustments to different regulatory instruments. Likewise, we have performed a number of due diligences in order to provide the greatest possible legal certainty to all parties involved in the financings.

• Financial compliance due dilligence:

Financial institutions are subject to numerous legal and regulatory provisions regarding their corporate governance, remunerations, hiring, financing, etc. DLG Abogados has performed several legal audits, both those mandated by the CNBV and others, in order to verify the regulatory compliance of different entities. Our knowledge of both public and private legislation has allowed us to audit both public (development banks) and private (financial institutions) financial entities.

• Credit portfolio legal risks:

We have evaluated credit portfolios of various financial institutions. Our work is not only limited to analyzing whether the credit files have been well structured, but we always provide added value by analyzing possible default scenarios on the part of the borrowers.

 

In addition, we have performed evaluations of the internal and external portfolio recovery areas of different financial institutions. Likewise, as part of our added value, we not only give our opinion on the performance of the lawyers involved in such recovery, but we always give suggestions on how to remedy situations that could imply legal or economic risks for the client.
