Solving legal problems and advising on institution’s decision making

Providing legal solutions with a win-win focus, mainly through conflict prevention and conciliation between the parties, using litigation as the last resource. Further, providing legal counsel in day-to-day operations:

  • Successful negotiations

Public-private conflicts (e.g. infrastructure contracts, labour and pensions liabilities). Annual approval processes of the Federal Budgets (fiscal years 1998 through 2018).

  • Specialized legal counselling

Advising enterprises, federal and subnational entities (e.g.  public-private projects, public policies’ implementation problems, solutions for their day-to-day activities, and during audit processes).

  • Multidisciplinary teams

Coordinated or participated in high level teams in charge of solving complex public-private problems (e.g. Metalclad, FONADIN, “Sub-urban train” debt restructure, PPP Queretaro-Irapuato).

  • Litigation of high profile cases

On the Supreme Court, federal and subnational courts, participating in high-level teams  (e.g. public debt, federal budget and social security disputes, sugar industry expropriation, dissolution of a public electricity company).
